I love the superhero game Heroclix. Like most of us who play the game, I also enjoy the comic books upon which the characters of the game are based.

So I've created a number of campaigns designed to simulate storylines with a traditional comic book feel to them. I'll be gradually posting the several dozen I've got ready over the next few weeks. After that, whenever I get around to creating a new campaign, I'll add that as well.

For the most part, the campaigns will be divided up into Marvel, DC and Mixed Universe. There will be a few single scenario entries as well.

If I can figure out how to manage it, I'd like to allow other Heroclix fans to post their own campaign/scenario creations here as well.

War of the gods

The Grandmaster and a rogue Monitor with a gambling vice have subtly manipulated the participants to go to the arena.

Marvel's Ares arrives with Loki, The Enchantress, Lorelei and the Executioner, DC's Ares arrives with Circe and Darksied arrives with Desaad, Granny Goodness, Lashina, Kalibak and Knockout and several parademons. After a tense standoff they choose to ally with each other when four more factions arrive consisting of the New Gods with Orion, Mister Miracle, Metron and Big Barda; Thor with Hercules, Brunhilde, Thor Girl, Thunderstrike, Beta Ray Bill and oddly, Namor (And Jane Foster if available); Wonder Woman appears with Ice who nearly swoons at the sight of Thor and finally Wulf Sternhammer appears and immediately swears allegiance with Thor.

This does not have to be an arena battle, you may use any map you like. You may trim these teams down to whatever size you like or break them up into factions for seperate encounters leading to a final showdown. If you do that I recommend elements of different factions be represented in each encounter.

If the heroes win, they save the universe, if the villains win we'll have to live under the yoke of evil incarnate, forever.
